Yes you do. To secure your van you are required to pay a 20% deposit of your entire booking fee. The balance is required 7 days before pick up.
We have a cancellation policy in our Ts and Cs however we like to work with you and we understand that circumstances can change. Just call Rob to discuss your situation.
Yes you do and our terms and conditions explain in more detail. You must ensure you are also insured with your tow vehicle and all registrations and licences are current and up to date.
Awnings are not covered by insurance and any damage to awnings is the responsibility of the hirer regardless of cost.
Aussie Caravan Rental takes no responsibility for personal belongings of the hirer that may be stolen or damaged.
Homework time. The best way is to check your vehicle Manufacturers owners books. The towing section is where you will generally find the information. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure they are compliant however we are here to help. Call Rob and we will try to help with this and the required brakes and trailer plug.
All of Aussie Caravan Rental vans are fitted with an Electric braking system. This works in tandem with your tow vehicle. Your tow vehicle will need to be fitted with electric brakes (eg Redarc) for this to work. Alternatively we can supply you an Elec Brake unit that attaches to the van and wires into your car via the 12 pin plug on your vehicle. We also provide the training on the use of these units.
If you decide to install an Electric Brake unit to your vehicle we recommend only a fully licensed Auto Electrician to complete your works.
If you don’t want to tow the van or just want it delivered to your home to start with, Aussie Caravan Rental offers a country wide delivery service. We can even set up, pack up and pick up your van. You need to call Rob to discuss delivery and pick up options. Cost will be discussed and if we can help we will.
We are pet friendly and all pets will be considered.
Please discuss with Rob prior and just remember some extra cleaning fees may apply.
Your own linen and this includes bedding, towels and pillows. Food, drinks, your clothes and any entertainment options.
Don’t forget your chairs, outdoor tables, portable bbq etc however if you don’t have some of these items we can supply. We even have our 40″ smart TVs for under the awning.
When off grid (ie no 240v power connected) you won’t be able to use any appliance that requires the power points, including the Reverse cycle Air conditioners and Microwave. If you run a generator, these items can all be used.
The exception is our Off Grid GX Yerang, it runs everything however there is a limit for how long, and we will help you get a good understanding of that before you go.
We are a phone call away and can generally troubleshoot most issues over the phone. If we can’t, we will do everything possible to keep your holiday going and enjoyable, and there are Jayco dealers all over our country that will be available to help.
Certainly as clean as when you took it out but we understand that can at times be a little difficult. So take up our cleaning option and we will do it for you. Our cleaning fee option is $150 per hire.
And don’t forget to take all your contents with you.
This all depends on how big the storage battery is and the solar intake during the daylight hours. Remember on a cloudy day it is less, under a tree is less. No sun = No Solar.
However with smart management and little wastage you can go for days. We say you will run out of water before you run out of power.
